Interlink Global Corporation, Internet Telecom Service Provider, Completes Entry into Public MarketplaceMarch 14, 2005 |Press Release
MIAMI, Mar 14, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) --Interlink Global Corp. (Pink Sheets:ILKG), formerly Infinity Worldwide Corporation, today announced the completion of the acquisition of 100% of the stock of Interlink Global Corporation, a Florida corporation that provides voice over the Internet ("VOIP") services to international business clients. Interlink Global Corp. ("Interlink" or the "Company") will now operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of ILKG.
The existing officers and directors of ILKG, which has completed its name change to Interlink Global Corporation, have resigned, with the management of Interlink being appointed as the officers of ILKG. Kenneth A Hosfeld, Executive V.P., has been also elected to the Board of ILKG and Oscar Ligardi, the President of Interlink's Chilean subsidiary, has been elected vice chairman and Chief Technology Officer. Other members of the board include individuals with substantial telecom industry and international business experience.
Interlink was initially formed for the purpose of providing advanced telecommunications applications utilizing hardware and software that enables people to use the worldwide Internet as the transmission medium for telephone calls to anywhere, from anywhere in the world. The Company, through its wholly owned subsidiaries, is currently serving clients in Africa, South America, and the Pacific Rim and presently derives revenues in Latin America from its subsidiary, Comunicaciones y Sistemas de Enlace Internacional Limitada, in Santiago, Chile. Although most of the VOIP providers are experiencing substantial losses, Interlink's Chilean subsidiary, which has been in business for over two years, therefore making it one of the first providers of international VOIP services to business clients, achieved profitability in 2004 reaching $502,000 of gross revenues and $63,000 of net income. Interlink is projecting achieving gross revenues in 2005 of $8,236,167 and net income of $1,033,199, which is projected to increase to $39,272,113 of gross income in 2006, with net income of $8,236,167.
In discussing the entry of the Company into the public marketplace, and his appointment to the Board of ILKG, Mr. Hosfeld stated: "Our plan has always been to enter the public marketplace at the appropriate time in order to give us access to the public capital markets, as well as give us access to publicly traded stock that we can use to effectuate our acquisition and expansion plans. We believe that the Internet telephony market will consolidate in the near future, and we intend to be one of those consolidators until we reach a sufficient size to be attractive to larger telecom companies that are expanding into this space, as evidenced by the recent proposed acquisitions of MCI and ATT."
